Colin
Makiwa Mufaro Mutomba was born in Chivhu, Zimbabwe.
He obtained A Levels at St Ignatius College, after
which he enrolled for Electronic Engineering at
the National University of Science and Technology
in Bulawayo.
After
three years of a five-year degree course was completed,
Makiwa started a full-time career in art.

2000: One-man show, The Black Mamba Gallery, Vaalwater,
South Africa, after which several miniatures were
purchased by Mrs Bridget Oppenheimer of Johannesburg.

On show at the African Easel, Kasane, Botswana.
