Particularly
renowned for his paintings of famous elephants,
Paul Bosman was born in South Africa. He was raised
in the Karoo and northern Botswana where his father
was an agriculturist. He studied art at the Johannesburg
School of Art for three years, and a year at the
Central School of Art in London.
